The information you send us
The website presents the apartments and lets you prepare an enquiry with your dates, chosen home and number of guests. Dates, home and guests are processed in your browser. When you open the enquiry in WhatsApp, the text is transferred to that service; we receive the message only after you choose to send it. No accommodation contracts are concluded and no payments are made on the website. The data you provide by phone, email or WhatsApp is used to reply, check availability and take the steps you request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). Providing this data is optional; without the necessary details, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry.
Browsing and security
When you visit the website, the technical providers that make it available may process your IP address, page requests, browser information and security logs. This data is used to provide the website and protect it from misuse, based on the legitimate interest in the security and operation of the service (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). The hosting uses Cloudflare security services, which may use essential cookies, for example to verify a request or counter automated traffic.

Your choice is stored in your browser under the key yh-consent-v2 for 184 days, together with the date and version of the privacy notice, so that you are not repeatedly asked for the same preference. Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 is set up to measure page visits and clicks on contact links only after you give your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), on the main domain yourhomeinalghero.com. Google signals and advertising personalisation are not enabled. If authorised, the _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish visits; the website limits their lifespan to 183 days. Withdrawing consent blocks Analytics from loading and deletes Analytics cookies accessible to the website. Refusing consent does not restrict access to the homes or contact information.

Images and logos are served by the website. Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp are external links: they are neither embedded nor loaded automatically. When you choose to open them, you visit the respective providers’ services, where their privacy notices and cookie preferences also apply.
Recipients, retention and transfers
Data may be processed by people authorised by the data controller and by the technical providers needed to manage the website, communications and security, in their respective roles. Enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to respond and manage the relationship; any data relating to a stay is subject to the applicable legal obligations. Technical data is retained in line with the operational and security purposes of the services used. Google, Cloudflare and communication services may also process data outside the European Economic Area, subject to the safeguards and conditions described in their own privacy notices. Where provided for by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
